A. Home-licensed childcare is home-based childcare where the providers look after children in their homes. The homes are regularly inspected by the agency and yearly by the Ministry of Education. Your child gets close supervision and early education as per Ministry guidelines integrated with Islamic values and social skills building. The Providers get the convenience of working from home looking after children aged 2 months to 6 years.

A. Opting for licensed home childcare offers numerous benefits, with the foremost advantage being the tranquility it brings to your mind. When a Provider is associated with CLA – Home Licensed Agency, you can rest assured that they have undergone a comprehensive screening procedure.

This process entails interviews, site visits, reference checks, criminal background checks, and medical evaluations for the Provider and information about adult children residing in their home. Upon completing of CLG-HLA screening process, Providers participate in an orientation program and receive assistance setting up their home and play areas. Additionally, they engage in training to further enhance their skills and knowledge.

A. CLG-HLA is a part of the government’s CWELCC program, meaning that parents only pay 47% of the fee this year, 2023, and the government pays the rest. By 2025 parents would only pay $10 per day, so only $220 per month per child.
